What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy used to create change in a patient while in a state of sleep, or unconsciousness, known as hypnosis. The word hypnosis comes from the Greek word “hypnos” which simply means, “sleep.” The therapy itself uses guided relaxation techniques from a trained hypnotist that invoke feelings of intense relaxation, concentration, and/or focus to achieve a heightened state of awareness or trance-like state.
During a hypnosis sessions a Hypnotherapist is able to facilitate a process to remove stored energies, connect to traumatic events and reverse physical and emotional damage, and clear the individual of these events in the subconscious mind and replace with positive clear emotions and thoughts. When we change the way we think, we change the way we feel and consequently, we change the way we act.
Reconnecting the mind and the mody through hypnosis can thus have dynamic changes to one’s life in just one session. Hypnosis is widely used today not just in medicine, but also by top sports performers, business experts, and those in the media to boost their performance and mental focus.
Subconscious healing through this very specialized method is one of the most effective treatments, addressing the emotional causes of disease.
