Dr. Sharon was suffering from chronic pain herself, when she first discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine. She fell in love with the more than 2000 year old practice when she was cured of her pain after only a few sessions. She enrolled in the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia’s Vancouver program to become a doctor.
After finishing her 5-year Doctor of TCM program and becoming a Registered Herbologist she decided to continue her post-doctorate studies and broaden her experience in hospitals in China.
This intensive and diverse training provided her with a complete balance between the Eastern and Western approach to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Applying her practice of original “Qi” from Tai Chi to her treatments, benefits her clients and amplifies her needles. She has been an avid practitioner of Tai Chi.
Her clients enjoy the gentle application of needles and her total body perspective. Dr. Sharon concentrates on finding out the root and pathology of illnesses for every patient, and combines acupuncture with Cupping, Qi Gong, Massage, Gua Sha, Food Cures and Herbal Formulas if needed. All to help the body heal.

Patient Testimonials for Dr. Sharon Mo
My experience working with Dr. Sharon has been extremely pleasant and satisfactory.
I am a professional forester and hydrologist with persistent seasonal allergic reactions for years. At first, it was fine to take daily allergy pills to reduce the symptoms but after several years nothing off the shelf worked for me anymore.
Given the nature of my job, I have been searching high and low for ways to mitigate the symptoms with little side effects. I had to take daily allergy pills and pain killers.
It was until I met Dr. Sharon that I felt relief. She started a treatment where she used auricular Acu-point pressing in conjunction with acupuncture to relieve my allergic symptoms and a nagging foot pain related to bunion issues. I am no longer taking any medication and I am Pain Free!
I have recommended my friends to visit Dr. Sharon and each of them has nothing but positive feedback.

I had painful period for about 10 years coupled with severe migraines, cramps, and back pain. Each month I dreaded those days. When I met Dr. Sharon, I was impressed by her friendly and patient approach. She gave me more than just Acupuncture, she helped me make changes in my eating habits and my lifestyle. I followed her guidance and now after 3 months, I have hardly any pain during my menstruation. I am so pleased with Dr. Sharon. She is a caring and professional doctor.
