We had a great time. From the Party on Saturday night; ribbon cutting, food, and drinks. To the music; a vocal performance by our very own Sarala Thompson to the amazing dancing from Byrcken Olive who flew specially up from California, and superb drumming by Sacha Levin. What an emotional and fulfilling night it was. Then followed the next day, by our welcome to the community. A wake-up yoga class, by Elizabeth Campbell got everyone in the right mood for free massages and lectures about Super-foods, Skin Allergies, Zinc Deficiency, and Weight Loss. The centre was a buzz of people enjoying Community Acupuncture, or going in for a Shiatsu or Reflexology massage. The day ended with a meditation and Hatha Yoga class by our Christopher Wallace. It was such a pleasure to see how much people just enjoyed the feeling of the place. “It is so peaceful and relaxing here” It certainly felt so good after the 16 hour days and years of dreaming to get here.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us and the numerous people who gave their fantastic energy and creativity to make Angel Hands New Vancouver Centre a beautiful place.
